Interactive games for kids

I came across some interactive material for the English lesson today. It's supplementary material for the lesson of English at Greek public schools. I thought it would be useful to share it with you on my blog. Just click on the START button.

Educaplay activities!

I came across another great tool to create multimedia material to use in my classes.
Educaplay is free-it offers a premium version- and it's really easy to use. There is a variety of activity types to choose from and you can also use time limit to make it more enticing for your learners!

Here is an activity based on hands and feet idioms!

HapYak interactive videos

A helpful tool to create interactive videos(without immediate feedback though) is HapYak.

It's easy to use and free(for up to 20 videos) and helps a teacher enforce blended learning in their teaching. It's also useful for those dreaming of a flipped classroom(a bit difficult to impose if residing in a country where paycut in the section of education are imposed)

HERE  is a video I've created using this tool. It's about an important figure in the Black History  Movement.

Online interactive games

I've came across some interesting game sites while reading  articles for gamification. I'm addicted to MOOCs and I've learnt lots of staff by taking some courses.
Therefore I thought of trying some of these and prepare some games to use with my students.

This game was created with Zondle. You can find info about it on the TOOL page.
You don't  need to sign up to play the games. When using it in the class-I suggest this for all social media and game sites-create accounts for your students. You can re-use these with next year students by changing the password.
