Dark tourism

Dark tourism involves travelling to sites associated with death and tragedy. While teaching the topic of travelling and tourism, the following lesson plan offers a different and more interesting (among teenagers) choice. You can still teach basic vocabulary based on the topic but at the same time make the lesson more meaningful to students.
Before doing the following lesson, you can use images  to elicit the names of famous dark tourism destinations. Students love the use of art in education.
